Fixed Term Annuity Share Certificate (CD) Calculator

A fixed term annuity CD is a modified version of a federally insured CD. It is designed to provide you with a monthly income stream for a pre-determined length of time (5,10,15 or 20 years). The income stream is guaranteed for the term of the annuity CD and unlike insurance annuities, in the event of an untimely death, any remaining balance will be distributed to your beneficiaries. It is very important to remember that once you setup a fixed term annuity CD, there may be penalties for early withdrawal. This calculator is designed to help you estimate your monthly payments from a Berks Community FCU fixed term annuity CD.

This is not an insurance product. There is a $2,000 minimum investment and early withdrawal penalties apply. This is a fixed-term investment designed to have a zero balance at the maturity date. Experts advise against investing more than 33% of total assets into an individual investment option. Individuals should consider many factors when determining the percentage of total assets appropriate to invest in this product including personal health, family history, average life expectancy, and any other factors unique to that individual.
