Krick attended the June 11th Kid's game. Employees
distributed frisbees and Youth Services flyers to the Youth
attending the event.
Berks Community Federal Credit Union sponsored the
Cumru Elementary 2008 Field Day
by donating credit union logo T-shirts. The students
tie-dyed the shirts and wore them for field day activities.
 
The
credit union team walked 4 miles for the March of Dimes
"March for the Babies,"
April 27, 2008. Team members included Erica Lott, Marketing
Manager, Kelly Noll, Lending Representative, Debbie Harville,
Sinking Spring Branch Manager, Steve Yarmush, Operation's
Manager, Carole Reio, Member Services Representative and
family. The credit union raised money for the March of Dimes
all year long through beanie bear sales, member donations
and walk-a-thon donations. Thank you to everyone who helped
to support the March of Dimes Mission, saving the lives of
premature babies!
Berks
Community Federal Credit Union's Board Chairman, Forrest
Wanner, and CEO, Terry Shoemaker, presented a certificate to
Tommy Arnold for 40 years of credit
union service. Tommy Arnold retired as Vice
Chairman on December 31, 2007.

Saturday, October 20, 2007. It was a perfect day for a yard
sale, blue skies and lots of bargains.

Terry
Shoemaker, Berks Community Federal Credit Union
President/CEO, accepted the United
Way's Bronze Award from Lori Bertschman, United
Way Campaign Associate. The credit union received the award
for employee participation and payroll contributions. The
credit union continues to support the Community of Berks by
making monthly donations to the March of Dimes.
The
Credit Union sponsored the Reading
Classic Pro Bike Race, held June 7, 2007 in
Reading. Wendy Reichard, Teller, was among the credit union
employees who distributed water bottles and flyers to the
spectators. The credit union raffled off a Fuji Bike. The
bike race was a great opportunity for the credit union to
reach out to the local community and share the benefits of
credit union membership.
