Helping You Bridge The Gap
KeystoneBest™ is a reduced cost loan program which includes
both Stafford & Plus loans. Borrowers, you can now customize
your loan(s) by choosing the lender that BEST meets your
needs.
Stafford or Plus
A Stafford loan is for undergraduate and graduate students.
A PLUS loan is for parents of undergraduates as well as
graduate and professional students. Both loans help to cover
the cost of education that remains unpaid by other student
aid.
Do I Qualify?
In order to qualify for KeystoneBest™ loan, you must be a
Pennsylvania resident attending any school, or an
out-of-state resident attending a Pennsylvania school. As
with all federal loans, students who intend to borrow must
complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
to determine eligibility.
APPLY Online
1. Go to
www.aesSuccess.org and click on the appropriate loan
type (i.e. Stafford or Parent Plus Loan)
2. Click on "Apply Now." You will be required
to log into the secure website with a username and password.
If you are a new user, click "Create an Account."
3. Follow the online instructions to get information and
to apply. When filling out the application, please fill in
the corresponding information:
Lender Name: Berks Community Federal Credit Union
Lender Code: 828877.
All loans are government
guaranteed. Separate applications are required. Rates, terms
and approval determined by PHEAA. All
applicants must be a credit union member. Applicants may
join and apply for a student loan all in one day! For
